Overview
Visit the most remote and beautiful places of the Sahara on a private guided tour with Brahim. Learn about nomadic life, how they live, survive, and the customs and traditions passed down through centuries.
Discover the Sahara’s hidden gems, agricultural and camel spots, diverse landscapes, and its unique flora, fauna and wildlife. Step into abandoned villages and shrines of desert saints and let the colourful history of the ancient Timbuktu Caravan routes come to life.
You can choose to be driven by Brahim in his 4×4 or drive your own vehicle accompanied and guided by him in his. As your private guide, Brahim will share with you the vibrant history of the Sahara and his genuine love of the desert, looking after you every step of the way, with his warmth, sense of humour and of course, his delicious tagines.
What you’ll do
After breakfast, check and organise your vehicle before embarking on your private tour into the Sahara. Your guide will take you to desert’s most amazing places; secret spots and hidden gems and entertain and educate you with stories and history of the Sahara. Camp will be set up for the best views of the desert sunrise and sunset. Your guide will look after you with refreshing tea stops, leisurely lunches and delicious dinners.
Take in the magnificent sunrise while your Private Guide prepares breakfast. Decamp and journey to remote dunes. Stop to observe watering camels and explore desert shrines. Treasure hunt in abandoned villages and retrace the steps of the former caravans to Timbuktu. Spot desert wildlife and birds, foxes, desert larks and Hoopoes. Set up camp in golden dunes and enjoy dinner round the campfire
Enjoy the sunrise before journeying back across the Sahara across the Panoramic Valley. Visit a working desert farm, in the agriculture land of Erg Smar. Arrive M’Hamid mid-morning. Freshen-up and relax with a Saharan tea.

How to Book
1) Select your tour, arrival date and number of people, including any special instructions.
2) Reserve your tour by email. Any discounts will be applied at the time of booking.
3) Receive a confirmation email with tour details, travel information and amount due. Pay for your tour on arrival in Euros or Moroccan Dirhams.
4) Private Transport to/from M’Hamid can also be booked via our website.

Our tours are all bookable via our website. Chose the tour and date you want and make your reservation. If you can’t find what you are looking for or need something different email us, we’ll be happy to help.
The main desert season is October to May and our tours operate every day on a date to suit you. Simply select the date you want when booking.
We also operate tours outside of the main season, please email us with your request.
All our tours are all inclusive from M’Hamid: this includes desert transport, camels, accommodation (bivouac or tents for camping), camping equipment and supplies, guides, chefs, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), water and refreshments.
Transfers to and from M’Hamid are not included and can be booked separately through us upon request. See transport.
