Overview
Live the life of a real desert nomad and camel trek across the beautiful and diverse landscapes of the Sahara. Enjoy the stunning panoramic vistas of the desert, its luscious palm groves, ancient Kasbahs and rolling dunes. Set up wild camp in the dunes, eat around an open campfire and marvel at the star-studded night sky. Take in the desert sunrise and sunset at different spots across the Sahara, as you take a leisurely trek into the desert. The perfect tour to experience the tempo of desert life.
What you’ll do
Arrive at your eco-lodge in the afternoon. Enjoy a Saharan welcome tea. Explore the village at leisure before dinner round the campfire and overnight.
Breakfast. Join your camel caravan to trek along the Draa Valley north towards Sidi Naji, burial site of the ancient desert saint and meeting point for the caravan route to Timbuktu. Set up camp in the golden dunes and enjoy dinner round the campfire.
Breakfast. Decamp. Trek across stoney desert and stunning landscapes to the agricultural spot of Lbour. Set up camp in the shade of a tamaris and watch sunset over the white dunes and fertile landscapes. Admire the stunning Sahara night sky.
Enjoy the desert sunrise and leisurely breakfast, before decamping for you final trek through the ancient Jewish Kasbah of M’Hamid to return mid-morning. Say good-bye to your guides, freshen-up and enjoy a farewell tea before departure

2) Reserve your tour by email. Any discounts will be applied at the time of booking.
3) Receive a confirmation email with tour details, travel information and amount due. Pay for your tour on arrival in Euros or Moroccan Dirhams.
4) Private Transport to/from M’Hamid can also be booked via our website.

The main desert season is October to May and our tours operate every day on a date to suit you. Simply select the date you want when booking.
We also operate tours outside of the main season, please email us with your request.
All our tours are all inclusive from M’Hamid: this includes desert transport, camels, accommodation (bivouac or tents for camping), camping equipment and supplies, guides, chefs, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), water and refreshments.
Transfers to and from M’Hamid are not included and can be booked separately through us upon request. See transport.
